About Founder

Amirtham began her as an enthusiastic dedicated life to social work to serve Society with the role model of Swami Vivekananda and her God Father Mr. Muthuramalingam . When he started the organization at the age of 21Listening to the heart-wrenching life stories of suffering people's health in various aspects inspired her to use alternative medicine to bring out the intensity of their health care. Amirtham studied the tool holistic health through Alternative medicine for women's and children's healing healthy manner. With a master’s degree in Alternative treatment  Acupuncture, Siddha Varma, Naturopathy, Medical astrology, a Psychiatric course in Homeopathy, and a Ph.D. in women's health, her grasp over the treatment she produces is innovative and magical. When she first stepped into the village in 2003, started various programs to uplift the poor through SHGS, Rural children's evening education,Account opening for poor children a skill development program for women and youth for betterment life in around 17 villages. 

Just after the the health side left behind horrific landscapes and increased incidences of women's reproductive problems and children's mental health problems. This is when Amirtham decided to establish a healthy place where women and children could feel safe, heal, and re-integrate themselves. She started her journey with only a handful dedicated to educating the reproductive intervention program to produce the reproductive organ. Over these years, Amirtham has provided a platform for marginalized women and young girls to break out of fear of health problems. Amirthm has courageously fought it all along with her team.

YACT (Yoga Amirtham Charitable Trust) is a social voluntary organization registered on 22.08.2003 under 12A and income tax exemption (80G),CSR-1 and FCRA with social concern. YACT’s primary focus is on WOMEN and CHILDREN HEALTH ,MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION THROUGH ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE.
